STUDIO 412 ARTIFACT BOX by JOE BLOCH
STUDIO 412 ARTIFACT BOX by JOE BLOCH
Some projects exist to become paintings. Others exist to tell the story behind them.
The STUDIO 412 Artifact Box began as an idea about the things that accumulate inside an artist's studio—the experiments, abandoned directions, successful accidents, original works, printed material, and everyday objects that quietly become part of the creative process.
Rather than hiding those pieces away, I wanted to collect them into an object of their own.
Each box is assembled by hand in my Brooklyn studio and contains a different combination of original artwork, signed prints, studio artifacts, creative experiments, and unexpected discoveries. Some pieces were never released. Some exist only once. Others simply felt too interesting to throw away.
No two boxes are the same because no two creative journeys are the same.
Think of it less as buying a mystery box and more as opening a crate from STUDIO 412. It's another way into my world—one that sits somewhere between finished artwork, personal archive, and creative process.
Whether you keep the contents together, frame a piece, hang something on your wall, or simply enjoy discovering what's inside, the experience is part of the work.
Every box contains at least $199 worth of artwork and studio artifacts, and many contain considerably more.
Limited release.
